The Experience: A short circuit through towering Mountain Ash trees and cool fern gullies. Note – As of early 2026, the surface has become rough and uneven. Parks Victoria currently advises it may not be suitable for all mobility aids until planned upgrades are completed.
The View: Breathtaking vistas of the world’s tallest flowering plants and lush tree ferns, with a high chance of spotting lyrebirds and crimson rosellas.

Terrain: After rain, tracks become incredibly slick and greasy, even on flat sections. The mountain ash frequently drop large, heavy branches without warning, particularly during high winds or after storms.
Wildlife Alert: Tiger Snakes and Copperheads are common in the Dandenongs. They are highly venomous.
