Terrain: Like many timber paths, the boardwalk can become quite slick when it’s foggy or has just rained.
Wildlife: Lowland Copperhead and Eastern Brown snakes live in the dune vegetation. On warm days, they often come out to the edge of the boardwalk or the concrete path to soak up the heat.
